Robin Williams Death: Apparent Suicide?
63 year old Robin Williams, born in Chicago in 1951, was found dead this morning, after a Marin County Sheriff’s office call was received around noon local time today. The call stated that Williams was unconscious and not breathing at his home just north of San Francisco. The sheriff’s coroner’s division saying they suspect the death as a suicide due to asphyxia, but the actual cause of death is still under investigation. Williams was last seen alive on Sunday, then night before his death. Susan Schneider, Williams’s wife, said in a statement, “This morning, I lost my husband and my bestfriend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.” We all are Susan; we must all keep Robin Williams’s family in our prayers as this news breaks headlines throughout the world tonight. Yes, the world lost a comedic genius, but the Williams family just lost one of their own.

Robin Williams death may have been suicide, but what could have been the reasoning behind this? It’s well known that WIlliams has been suffering from severe depression recently, as you can see in his latest news, and he had also struggled through alcoholism and addiction. Just last month, Williams had entered a Minnesota rehabilitation center to help him maintain his sobriety and get back on track. What went wrong? One of Williams’s representatives at the time said that Robin was not using alcohol or drugs but had gone to the center in Minnesota to “fine-tune and focus” his recovery after overworking himself previous to that time.
